This is the results of the fourteenth consecutive year of monitoring wintering bald eagles (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) near Alamo and Capulin Canyons at Bandelier National Monument, NM. Bald eagles were counted at fixed points and castings were collected beneath roosts. Among the results compared over the last fifteen years are total populations, percent adults, and percent of total New Mexico population sighted each year. Included is the date and results of all air and ground counts performed by the author, the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish, and the US Army Corps of Engineers from 1989-1992. The appendices contain information on roost trees and the dietary contents of castings found below.
