Discusses vegetation composition in a subalpine grassland in Haleakala disturbed by pigs and over a five year period inside small fenced pig exclosure. Author concludes that if feral pigs are allowed to continue to forage in the grassland, introduced plant species will continue to increase in both cover and abundance.
