This is the first annual report of a 5-year study that documents the recovery of vegetation on Perdido Key after a beach nourishment project was completed in April, 1990. This report covers the period of fall, 1989 through summer, 1990 and attempts to establish a baseline prior to beach nourishment. The report identifies the transects, study plots, vegetation types, and the species composition.
