"This survey was made to meet an ever increasing need for a map showing the composition, extent, and character of the vegetation." The vegetation types discussed are the chaparral types, the woodland types, and the timber types at Chiricahua National Monument. Also included are a list of the plant species collected during the survey (herbarium collection list), a summary of the acreages for each vegetation type, and a summary of the acreages for individual plant species.
