A vegetational analysis was performed in a disturbed canyon at Los Alamos National Laboratory, NM. The area was directly below a peregrine falcon (Falco peregrinus) nesting site. The purpose of the survey was to determine the effect of the disturbance on vegetation which could be a food source for mourning doves and rodents. The mourning doves are a food source for the peregrine, and the rodents may attract owls, a predator of peregrines. Included is an annotated checklist of plants found in the peregrine habitat.
