A water quality study was initiated in the East Fork Kaweah River basin to collect baseline data for water quality comparisons before, during and after the development of recreation facilities in the Mineral King Basin. This report presents water quality data collected during the 5 month low flow period. USGS hydrologic data are summarized in tables for water years 1952-1969. Water quality data were collected monthly from July-December 1968. Water chemistry analyses include: nutrients, metals, hardness, alkalinity and physical parameters.
