Water quality report 1988, Big Cypress National Preserve

Weeks DP. 1989. Water quality report 1988, Big Cypress National Preserve

Annual report summarizing data collected at 11 hydrological monitoring stations at Big Cypress National Preserve, Florida. Water is critical to the natural resources of the preserve, and this baseline data can help identify any major deviations resulting from future human activities. The program began in February 1988, and the data for the rest of the year is presented here in the many graphs and tables of the appendices. Following a brief discussion of individual measured parameters, the author provides recommendations for standardizing the sampling and for expanding the network to include land recently added to the preserve.
