Madej MA, Weaver WE, Kelsey HM. 1980. Watershed rehabilitation summary report 78-1 thru 78-5 (all 1978 rehab projects)

This large report summarizes work on all the rehabilitation sites treated in 1978 in the Redwood Creek basin, Redwood National Park, California. Work during this year concentrated on Upper Miller, Harry Weir (Emerald), and Bond creeks. The beginning of the report describes erosion-control structures and methods used (mostly labor-intensive methods in these early projects). Later sections discuss effectiveness of each method and evaluate the 1978 work methods. The report includes maps of the sites, tables of costs, and 44 color slides. The 84 figures are mostly photographs (photocopies) of sites and work, with a few sketches of techniques.
