Griffith BC. 1986. Watershed rehabilitation unit 85-4 (C-40, C-50, C-70, lower C-Line): vegetation summary report

This report is one of a large group containing details of individual projects done as part of the major rehabilitation efforts in the Redwood Creek basin, Redwood National Park, California. It contains a description of the divided site (in the Miller and Emerald creek drainages) and the vegetation, along with a summary of the varied soil types represented. The report outlines the vegetation objectives and treatments. Three hand-colored maps show a) the logging history; b) the planting locations for redwood, Douglas-fir, and alder at the C-40 site; and c) planting locations for the same species in the other part of the unit. The latter two also show locations of test plots for monitoring survival of the young trees. Tables show vegetation treatments and costs.
