Study designed to create baseline data for the ecosystem which includes three fresh water ponds on Padre Island National Seashore, Texas. At each of the ponds data was collected monthly for one year, plus five additional trips. The chemical and physical characteristics were defined, plants and animals around the ponds observed, and specimens of pond life were collected and all were included in this report.
