A plan for the restoration of a marsh with smooth cordgrass (Spartina alterniflora) in the Davis Bayou area of Gulf Islands National Seashore, Florida and Mississippi. There is a description of the project area and smooth cordgrass. There are sections discussing type of propagation, origin of planting stock, planting techniques, time of planting, elevation and slope, and fertilizer. A map shows the layout of the restoration site. A species list shows the trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants occurring in and adjacent to the restoration area. There are photographs showing views of the site to be restored.
