This report describes the pruning project undertaken at Wick Farm apple orchard at Morristown National Historical Park, Morristown, NJ from February 13 - 17 of 1995. Personnel shortages at Morristown NHP had resulted in deferred cyclic maintentance of the orchard, causing a five year backlog in pruning. A crew of 8 gardeners from other parks, under supervision from personnel from the National Park Service's Olmstead Center for Landscape Preservation, Brookline, MA, pruned 41 trees and removed 4 trees to improve the orchard. A list of recommendations for park orchard maintentance follow-up is included, as is a diagram of the present trees and the work done during this project.
