The report reviewed the roadless areas of 5,000 contiguous acres or more in Lassen Volcanic National Park for their suitability or non-suitability for preservation as wilderness, as required by the Wilderness Act, Section 3(c). This review was carried out in connection with regular Master Plan Team Field Study. The boundaries of the Wilderness Areas were drawn, including Lassen Peak, Cinder Cone, and Devils Kitchen.
