From introductory paragraph: "Having occasion to spend the latter half of the winter of 1920- 1921 on the Gulf Coast, I took the opportunity of making a study of the fauna, and particularly the birds of Biloxi, Mississippi, and its environs, and found this territory to be a vertible paradise for winter birds of all groups. A second trip was made to Biloxi for the last nine days of December, 1921, and additional observations made at that time."
