The report discusses the finding of remains from woodchucks (Marmota flaviventris) in Arizona caves. After discovery of such remains in two northeastern sites, more were found in Grand Canyon caves, considerably extending the known range. Except for one site, the locations are not currently suitable climatically for the species, and the remains are dated from about A.D. 200 to 1300.
