This Team research effort provides immediate and long range information needed by various management agencies on the grizzly bear (Ursus avcotos horribilis) that inhabit the Yellowstone system. Objectives of the study are to determine the status and trend of the grizzly bear population, the use of habitats and food items by the bears, and the effects of land management practices on the bear population.
