Wagner RH. 1964. The Ecology of Uniola paniculata L in the Dune-Stand Habitat of North Carolina. Ecological Monographs. 34(1):79-96
This study of the ecology of Unicola paniculata in North Carolina had three main objectives: 1) to record the composition and structure of a local dune community; 2) to amass observational data about the autecology of the locally dominant species, Uniola paniculata; and 3) to clarify by experimentation in the labratory and field the relationship of this species to both the physical habitat and the biotic community.
