Vegetation map of Kipahulu valley below 700m. Discusses history of native vegetation and introduced species invasions in the valley. Discusses vegetation fragmentation and potential implication of alien species on higher altitude ecosystems. Discusses resource management objectives for stopping the spread of invasive species. A high priority is put on the eradication of feral pigs. Reccommends further research into the autecology of Hilo grass (Paspalum conjugatum) and Strawberry guava (Psidium cattleianum)
