Monitoring of vegetation changes following removal of feral pigs in the Olaa-Koa Rain Forest Unit in HAVO 1991-1998. Native understory increased 48%, mostly in the first two years. Alien understory increased 190%, mostly due to increases in Kahili ginger(Hedychium gardnerianum),Himalayan Raspberry (Rubus ellipticus) and Palm grass( Setaria Palmaefolia)
