This report summarizes the day-by-day log of all bird sightings made in and adjacent to Yukon-Charley National Preserve during the summer of 1974. A total of 53 days were spent in the field, and a total of 101 species of birds were identified. An annotated bird list for the 101 birds identified is included. that includes information on abundance and breeding status. Mist-nets were used to determine presence of bird species near the mouth of the Charley River. Select avian groups are discussed and proportional abundance tables are provided for species occurring within selected vegetation types.
