California's Wildlife: Volume III, Mammals

Zeiner DC, Laudenslayer WF, Mayer KE, White M (ed). 1990. California's Wildlife: Volume III, Mammals. California's Wildlife. California Department of Fish and Game. Sacramento, CA

Excerpts: "This volume is the third of three entitled 'California's Wildlife'. Together, this set constitutes one of a series of Wildlife Habitat Relationships (WHR) System publications. The purpose of these volumes is to provide basic biological information to users of the statewide WHR computerized database about all terrestrial vertebrate species residing in, or regularly migrating to, California. The database contains species-habitat models to aid biologists in making timely predictions of the wildlife occurring in the various habitats of the state. Additional WHR publications include: 'Guide to The California Wildlife Habitat Reltionships System' (Airola 1988), and 'A Guide to Wildlife Habitats of California' (Mayer and Laudenslayer 1988)."
