"This study surveyed for locations and activities of coyotes (Canis latrans) and badgers (Taxidea taxus) in the area of a proposed black-footed ferret (Mustela nigripes) reintroduction in 1996. The study is located within Burns Basin, Badlands National Park, South Dakota and included three black-tailed prairie dog (Cynomys ludovicianus) colonies, totalling 290.5 ha (717.4 ac),and the surrounding area (Figure1)."
