The general purpose of this study was to gather wildlife resource data to be used in the BLM planning process for future energy development activities in western ND. Principal emphasis was placed on locating and identifying the nesting sites of raptors which are specifically recognized by the USFWS as "birds of high federal interest" in the coal unsuitability criteria.
