From the Introduction: "This report summarizes Redwood National and State Parks' Fish and Wildlife Branch monitoring activities in the Redwood Creek estuary for the calendar year 1999. Monitoring activities have occurred in the Redwood Creek estuary since 1980. The purpose of the study is to determine fish utilization of the estuary, monitor estuary water and sand berm elevations, and document breaching incidents. This report serves as the annual report for the Division of Resource Management and Science and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps)." Sections of the report include Study Location, Methods, Water Quality Monitoring, Tide and Stream Flow Data, Estuary Water Levels, Estuary Cross Sections, Sand Berm Elevation Monitoring, Other Activities, Results, and Discussion. The results indicate the fish species present (4 salmonid species, 6 other species), population estimates, and growth estimates.
