The Legacy Project included three major goals: establishment of a neotropical passerine monitoring program within the Preserve; Peregrine falcon breeding and productivity monitoring along the Charley River; and production of a training video for Air Force pilots regarding their role inthe conservation of peregrine falcons. A total of 33 species of birds were identified at two MAPS stations. A total of 147 passerines were banded at these stations from May - August, 1994. The peregrine falcon occupancy survey identified fourteen occupied territories. Nest success was 60% and productivity was 1.4 young/total pair and 2.3 young/successful pair.
