Reconnaissance study to observe bird species present in Aniakchak Caldera. Secondary objectives were to find evidence of nesting activity in order to identify which species were breeding, and to understand relative abundance of all observed species. Bird species associations within different habitat types were also recorded. Thirty eight bird species were identified within five different habitat types.There was evidence of breeding for 16 bird species.
