Short report full of information. The introduction describes the general geology of the region and the unique ecosystems created by the narrow canyon. Following are several species lists: a brief list of 'conspicuous plants', a more extensive list of birds (arranged by the habitat in which they are found), lists of amphibia, reptiles, mammals (rabbits, rodents, carnivores, ungulates), invertebrates, insects, arachnids. The final two sections are 'Ecology of aboriginal inhabitants' (obnoxious pollens, parasites, endemic diseases, biological resources) and 'Proposed program of interpretation'.
