US National Park Service. 1994. Resource management plan, Katmai National Park & Preserve. National Park Service
This section of the Resource Management Plan evaluates the adequacy of the parks natural resources baseline data, summarizes the condition of its natural resources, and describes the major threats to them. Rather than an exhaustive treatise of resource conditions, this section focuses on representative resource categories, and species or communities of special concern based on identified threats, state and federal threatened or endangered listed species, resources specifically named in legislation, species subjected to consumptive uses, and endemic and alien species. This review synthesizes information for mammals, birds, plants, and fishes.
