Small mammal surveys were conducted at 11 sites throughout Lake Clark National Park, which were concurrent with other research activities. Sorex hoyi was the most numerous and common species captured, and was found at all sites where pit-fall traps were used. Clethryonomys rutilis was the second most common species captured. Overall, a total of seven species of small mammals were identified, from the families: Insectivora; Cricetidae; Zapodidae; and Scuridae.
