Floyd-Hanna L and Hanna DD. 1995. Vegetation Studies at Chaco Culture National Historic Park [Final Report for 1994]. Environmental Studies Program, Prescott College. Prescott, AZ

This is the final report of the 1994 inventory of vegetation resources at Chaco Culture National Historic Park. The multi-year project was undertaken specifically to include the vegetation of areas added to the park in 1992 as well as to update nomenclature and other aspects of a 1974 survey by Kelley and Potter. The 1994 field season investigated South Mesa, Wijiji Mesa, new acquisitions near Pueblo Alto, and in the extreme southwest section of the park. The report includes a preliminary vegetation map of the project area, notes on the vegetation associations found, a discussion of the Geographic Information System (GIS) analysis, and Appendix A listing plant species by family (scientific names).
