A survey of the Las Vegas bearpoppy, Arctomecon californica, population in Lake Mead National Recreation Area (LMNRA) was initiated. A portion of the population in LMNRA has been surveyed and mapped to date. Map information has been added to a GIS database and a map with redrawn population boundaries for Las Vegas bearpoppy has been produced. Onsite soils, disturbance, threats, and associated plant species data has been added to the GIS database.
