Trani-Griep MK. 1983. Report on Visitor Impact Upon Wildlife Populations at Cedar Breaks National Monument, June 1983 - October 1983.. Cedar Breaks National Monument, UT
This report documents a small study to determine the influence of visitor use on the small mammal population at CEBR. Data were collected using live traps, time-area counts and observations in four locations: campground, campground control, alpine pond trail, and alpine pond trail control. Results indicated the main impacts on small mammals were due to modification of vegetation and leaving food remains.
