This report describes the results from the first year (1991) of a multi-year study implemented in Cape Krusenstern National Monument, Alaska, to inventory coastal avifauna and assess seasonal habitat use by migratory species. The emphasis during the first year of the study was to obtain quantitative data on nesting and feeding ecology of shorebirds and on fall habitat use by waterfowl.
