Inventory and monitoring of small mammals in the Noatak National Preserve

This report summarizes small mammal inventory and monitoring work that was done in Noatak National Preserve in 1988 and 1989. The principle objectives of this study were to provide habitat specific inventory of small mammals and to monitor the population levels and community dynamics of small mammals at an established research site in the Preserve. Results of this study were used to develop the inventory and monitoring protocols for other park areas in the region.
