A summary of research on the Nowitna River and Fish-Niukluk River that began in 1967 and 1972 respectively and continued sporadically on through 1984. Harvest of sheefish in the Kobuk River in the Kotzebue area was monitored in 1984 an harvest checks were made for several rivers in the Kotzebue area in 1983 and 1984. Walker Lake, in Gates of the Arctic National Park was also checked for harvest. Sheefish enhancement assessments were made for South Greely Lake, Gull Lake, and Four Mile Lake.
