This document is a listing of bird observations made between 28 May and 6 July 1967 at Kukak Bay. The purpose of the survey was to ascertain the breeding status of species associated with the rock islets that characterize outer Kukak Bay. Some observations were also made in inner Kukak Bay and at Devils Cove. Forty-eight bird species were recorded, and breeding data were obtained for six species not previously known to nest within the Monument. One of these, the red-faced cormorant, represents a north-east breeding range extension of 180 mi.
