Kozie K, Kralovec M, Yerxa R. 1996. Icy Bay Seabird Census in Wrangell-St Elias National Park and Preserve, 1995
This report describes shoreline surveys conducted in Icy Bay to collect baseline information on seabird use during the breeding cycle. A special emphasis was placed on the Arctic and Aleutian tern colonies on Riyou Spit, where nest counts were performed. The overall purpose of the extensive transects was to obtain repeatable data for population estimates and eventual trend analysis.
