Birds of Chandler Lake, Brooks Range, Alaska
Campbell JM. 1968. Birds of Chandler Lake, Brooks Range, Alaska. Murrelet. 49(2):15-24
Birds observed and collected during the summers of 1956, 1961, and 1967 in the Chandler Lake area are described. The environment of the Chandler Lake valley is appreciably more severe than that of Anaktuvuk Pass, which lies 26 air miles to the east. This is apparent in the number of birds that occur in the two places; about twice as many species occur at Anaktuvuk as at Chandler. The majority of the report is an annotated list of the birds encountered.
