A list of plants and birds was made from a four-day field trip by the California Botanical club for Lassen Volcanic National Park August 4-7. A schedule and itinerary for the trip in addition is also given with the list. Over 220 plant species and 39 bird species were listed. Two new plants were also found not recorded previously: Botrychium simplex and Pinus washoensis.
