Management of Bryce Canyon NP has been faced with issues related to the development of water and other resources within and adjacent to the park which could potentially affect park water rights and water-related resources attributes. However, the park lacks water resource information necessary to respond to water-related issues in a timely manner. Management of Bryce Canyon NP has requested the NPS Water Resources Division prepare a Hydrologic Resources and Inventory of Water Rights, Uses and Requirements for the park. The purpose of this report is to characterize the hydrology and inventory the water rights, uses and requirements at BRCA. The report also presents a description of the location and movement of surface and ground water within BRCA particularly as influenced by local and regional geology.
