In early 1998, the U.S. fish and Wildlife Service announced that the status of the Northern Goshawk in the western United States warrants further review to determine if it should be listed as threatened or endangered under the Federal Endangered Species Act. Bryce Canyon conducted surveys using the forms provided for the status review. The review provides documented goshawk use or activity and effort expended at the terrority and a summary of land management in the terrority.
