A review of the snails found in the National Park of American Samoa. Several endangered species were collected, including one (Samoana abbreviata) that was thought to be extinct. The extremely rare Samoana thurstoni and several other species were restricted to high elevations of Ofu island, lending support to addition of this area to the park.
