Results of research to determine the ambient ammonium concentrations in the surface waters of moderately- and least-impacted nearshore areas of Biscayne Bay and determine the ammonium concentrations of surface waters in the vicinity of the South Dade Landfill. Also gathered data on dissolved oxygen, pH, salinity and water temperature. Includes graphs and tables of data. This is the final report for subagreement CA-5280-8007 between the Department of the Interior, National Park Service and Florida International University. The purpose of this subagreement was twofold. The first was to determine the ambient ammonium concentrations in the surface waters of moderately- and leastimpacted nearshore areas of Biscayne Bay. The second was to determine the ammonium concentrations of surface waters in the vicinity of the South Dade Landfill.
