A study conducted on McCurdy and Cronin Creeks, in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Marin County, CA. One is intermittent, one perennial, but both have a similar climate, geology, vegetation, and land use. The streams were compared to examine the effects of seasonal drying on surface and hyporheic invertebrate assemblages.
