Authors planted quantities of oysters at three different locations in Tomales Bay. To determine the cause of mortalities, water temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, salinity, and turbidity were measured. Authors found that die-offs correlated with large Gymnodinium splendens blooms, as well as elevated water temperatures.
