This is a report of the vegetation of Bandelier National Monument, NM, along the Rio Grande from above the mouth of Lummis Canyon to two miles up Alamo Canyon. The focus of this report is on the influence of prehistoric and historic man on vegetation of the area, the plant resources available to prehistoric peoples, and unusual plant which could be affected by rising waters of Cochiti Lake. Includes lists of plants which were excavated from archeological sites and their potential uses.
