In 1996 Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area was invited to participate in a long-term butterfly monitoring program inititated by the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. The program was expanded statewide in 1998 by the Ohio Lepidopterists and now includes 30 sites. This report summarizes the 1996-1999 monitoring seasons in CVNRA.
