Temporal Patterns of Fish Recruitment on a Fringing Coral Reef in Virgin Islands National Park, St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands
Miller J, Beets J, Rogers C. 2001. Temporal Patterns of Fish Recruitment on a Fringing Coral Reef in Virgin Islands National Park, St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands. Bulletin of Marine Science. 69(2):567-577
The goal of this study was to document temporal recruitment patterns in the fish assemblage on a reef within Virgin Islands National Park, St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, and to determine when monitoring of juveniles should be scheduled to provide data for adult abundance predictions. These initial data were compared with information from annual surveys on large juvenile/adult fish assemblages at this reef and others around St. John (Beets, 1993 ).
