Cook RS. 1993. Ecological Issues on Reintroducing Wolves into Yellowstone National Park (National Park Service Scientific Monograph). National Park Service. Denver, Colorado
Reintroduction and translocations of gray wolves (Canus Lupis) and red wolves (Canis rufus) were reviewed to evaluate the possibility of reintroducing gray wolves to the Greater Yellowstone area, central Idaho, and other areas of the U. S. mentioned in recovery plans; and to evaluate the feasibility of wolf translocation as a management action with problem wolves.
