PACN Inventory Paleontological Resources of the Pacific Island Network

Hunt RK, Santucci VL, Kenworthy JP. PACN Inventory Paleontological Resources of the Pacific Island Network. 2006-2007. National Park Service

Paleontological resource inventories were conducted for the 11 national parks within the Pacific Island network of the Inventory and Monitoring program. The report gives a brief description of natural resources within each park and surrounding geology as well as the paleontological resources found and historically noted. Though few fossils have been found within park boundaries, many exist on neighboring lands and could be found with more extensive research in the parks.
